We are situated in the beautiful little town of Needham Market surrounded by the countryside and close to Stowmarket and other surrounding villages. My setting is very close to all the local amenities such as the local shops, parks, nearby forest areas, library, community centre and churches. We are a nice 10 minute walk away from the local schools and nurseries, via the park and duck pond. We feed the ducks nearly every day. We are also very close to alder carr farm which is a lovely farm with animals and a small play area. Needham Market also has a wonderful public lake attraction which has wonderful experiences for children of all ages, such as feeding the ducks, bird and nature watching, pond dipping, picnic areas and two exciting play areas.
I am also very close to the extensive social learning resources such as the local Sure Start centre who operate many children groups and activities including a health clinic. I am very close to the local train station and bus stops. Stowmarket is very close by and has access to leisure and soft play facilities.
I have lived in Needham Market all my life and we have a very nice detached house which is off road on a private driveway with no through traffic. We have a large driveway and plenty of parking.
Your child will be welcomed in to a warm, caring and safe environment.
My home setting offers a rich and inclusive indoor learning environment including a role play, construction, story corner and arts and crafts areas. For older children I have resources such as activities , games , Lego , arts and crafts , chill out , relaxing and homework areas. Your child will have full access to the large indoor play room, with access to the kitchen for baking and cooking, I have a quiet area for sharing stories and quiet time. I have a large family garden which is always available , with outdoor playhouse , equipment , climbing frame , swing , vegetable, messy and outdoor kitchen and music areas.
I strongly believe in outside play as much as possible , we spent most days feeding ducks , playing games in the woodland area and the lovely play park in the village , when we are at home we play games and have fun in the garden , I believe physical activity and being in the natural environment is so important to your child's development , social skills , communication , understanding the world and general well being.
