The Taoist Tai Chi Society of Great Britain currently provides in-person sessions in Ipswich, Suffolk at community venues.   Taoism teaches us many ways to cultivate ourselves and to help others.  Quietly practising the Taoist Tai Chi (TM) arts together is a form of reverential meditation that can lead to profound transformation and harmony with the Tao.

Notes

The Taoist Tai Chi Society of Great Britain is a charity registered in England & Wales (1053425) and in Scotland (SC039513).  It is the only direct link with Master Moy Lin Shin who founded our Society in 1970.

Our form of Tai Chi is specifically designed to improve health and is available to all ages and health conditions.

The continued expansion and contraction in each of the movements can lead to improved balance, reduced frequency of painful episodes and improvement in mood leading to calmness and peace of mind.

Taoist Tai ChiTM is one of the arts taught by the Society which has proven very effective in aiding and speeding recovery following illness and surgery and can be adapted for people with reduced mobility.

We’ve found most people can practise Taoist Tai Chi™ arts and that many conditions have shown to improve with regular practice.
