Amnesty International Bury St Edmunds Group

Amnesty international

Amnesty International is a movement of ordinary people from across the world standing up for humanity and human rights. Its purpose is to protect individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied.

The Bury St Edmunds Amnesty Group signs letters about prisoners of conscience, organises fundraising events, holds meetings with expert speakers, campaigns locally on Amnesty's priorities, raises public awareness and has occasional social events. All are welcome.
