Ixworth Scout Group

We are the UK's biggest mixed youth organisation. We change lives by offering 6 to 25 year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities.
Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

The Specialist Advisers are a national team who support District, County and Regional Scouting to ensure it is inclusive, accessible and as diverse as the communities in which we live.
We are a resource, a sounding board, a listener and supporter for anyone seeking guiding around diversity and inclusion in Scouting. Specialist Advisers offer a safe, trusted space for adults in Scouting to be able to discuss challenging and sensitive issues that may not feel comfortable to discuss elsewhere.
As a team we have a range of professional and Scouting expertise; and each possess a genuine passion and enthusiasm for supporting Scouting For All. Practically in each of our regions we can offer training; support and guidance, and strategic input.- Contact
