I tell authentic folk tales from the Saxon, Medieval and Tudor periods, albeit using modern language. I also tell world tales and bring replica objects, riddles and all sorts of fun to my sessions! I perform all over the UK at festivals, fayres, museums, heritage sites, libraries and schools, performing to both adults and children.
I've published three books, 'Tudor Folk Tales,' in 2015, 'Norfolk Folk Tales for Children' in 2018 and 'Medieval Folk Tales for Children' in 2020.
Cost depends on amount of sessions and whether I provide my storytelling tent. Check my website for different sessions. I tell at museums, fairs, schools and to all ages. From pre school to adult sessions and I also offer storytelling workshops to aid anyone wishing to present to the general public.
Dave Tong had children and adults alike gripped with his stories despite many distractions and wild weather. It was a delight to see that storytelling still holds huge appeal when done as well as this.
