Parkrun and Junior Parkrun events in Suffolk - 26 locations
parkrun and Junior parkrun provide free timed running events for adults and children in parks and communities across Suffolk.
Supported and organised by fantastic local volunteers they are open to everyone and provide a fantastic environment to get active and stay active.
They take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and are open to people of every ability, from those wishing to walk, to those taking their first steps in running, to Olympians, to juniors, to those with more experience - everyone is welcome to participate.
Suffolk now has 17 parkruns and 9 junior parkruns with around 3,000 people taking part each and every week.
parkwalk
Common reasons people give for not taking part in their local parkrun are that they can't run that far, or they are not fit enough. Running is not required, walking is encouraged.
parkwalk is a great way to get active and start your parkrun journey. You'll be supported at a parkrun event as Suffolk has at least one volunteer tail walker, who is the person or people at the back who always finish last.
You can read about walking at parkrun to find out how to get involved.
