Newmarket U3A (University of the Third Age)

University of the Third Age provides opportunities during the day time for education and recreation for mature people no longer in full time employment or people of retirement/semi-retirement age. Subjects covering a wide interest to members are studied at various venues or in member's homes.
Anyone with an interest or skill is encouraged to start a new group and thus provide information to interested member's.

Activities include Monthly Speaker meetings on the last Monday of the month.  Bi-monthly newsletter.

Current groups include: Antiques;  Camera Club; Carpet Bowls; Discussion; Drama; Gardening; History; Lunch Club; Mah Jong; Music Appreciation; Quiz; Realm of Books; Scrabble; Walking; Wings, Wheels and Water.
