Childminder

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder living in Felixstowe with my husband and children and our friendly dog. I offer childcare to all families with children from birth onwards.

My setting includes a safe and secure garden with a dedicated childminding room which leads on to my garden where ride-on toys, mud kitchen, water play and a sensory garden area which children help to grow and nurture. I also offer painting and craft activities. All my toys and resources are accessible to the children at all times so can take control of their own learning and independence is encouraged.

Children in my setting are taken on regular outings to the local parks, library and sea front and soft play centres. We also team up with the local childminder's so that the children can expand their social experiences. 

I consider myself to be highly skilled and knowledgeable within my profession. In 2017 I completed a BA Honours Degree in Early Years, I have also completed N.V.Q Level 2 and Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. I also regularly complete other courses relevant to my profession to ensure that my knowledge is always current. 

My setting is open all year round from 8am-6pm, but I can be flexible to suit the needs of all families.
