MHAS Museum aims to keep alive the history and stories of this once famous and secret airfield, RAF Martlesham Heath (MH).
Between WW1 and WW2 RAF MH tested all new aeroplanes including civilian types under the title of the "Aeroplane & Armaments Experimental Establishment" (A.& A.E.E.)
Immediatly after the conclusion of WW2 RAF Martlesham Heath carried on, but now as a Research Station. "Blind Landing Unit" and "Bomb Ballistic Unit" were two important units stationed at RAF MH, remember this was now the age of the Jet engine and Atomic Bomb.
