Kernos Centre - Counselling support for young people and adults. We have worked with people from aged 6 - 93yrs

We are a registered charity in Sudbury providing weekly Counselling support to anyone in need.

All Counsellors in the clinical team are fully qualified and adhere to BACP ethical codes and codes of practice.

We work with a wide range of issues including Depression, Anxiety, loss, Family break-up,

Self-harming, School related problems, All forms of Abuse, including Domestic Abuse etc.

Cost Details
As a charity Kernos doesn't receive any statutory funding and we rely on obtaining grants, fundraising and donations. We do have to ask for a donation which is dependent upon individual circumstances and no-one is turned away if they cannot afford to make a contribution towards the cost of their therapy.
Referral and availability notes

Clients can self refer. We also take referrals from G.P.'s, schools, colleges, psychiatrists, Childrens Centres and anyone acting for the client (parents, guardians and friends).

Notes

We see anyone from aged 6 upwards. Adults and young people self-refer. Children and young people can also be referred to us by parents, GP, Integrated teams or Schools. Kernos relies for funding on grants and donations and receives no statutory NHS funding. If appropriate we do ask clients if they can make a donation towards their sessions but no-one is turned away if they cannot make a donation.
