Community Wellbeing Centre, Felixstowe

Community Wellbeing Services are designed for people who have been assessed as being frail or at risk and who prefer to continue living in their own homes, but need extra support in the day.

We aim to promote independence, improve or maintain quality of life, build up friendships by providing social contact and we also aim to meet individual needs.

A wide range of social and leisure activities are available. Increasingly, services will be provided in partnership between the County Council and the voluntary or private sector so that skills and resources can be shared and a wider range of older people supported.

The Community Wellbeing Centres intend to contribute to support people’s recovery, help them remain in their own homes, prevent isolation, provide specialist care for people with Dementia, give support and information to carers and support people with day-to-day tasks.
