South Lee Day Nursery

Coronavirus Support

Due to coronavirus we are currently unable to show you round nursery, but please call us for more information, or go to the Nursery section on our main school website. We have postponed Forest Schools Parent and Toddler until the new year, these sessions run on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 9.15-10.15am and cost £3 pay as you go. If you would like to start attending next year please contact Debbie Ward via email

General Details

From 2021 South Lee Day Nursery will be offering year round child care from 4 month to 4 years from 8am-6pm. We are currently in the process of registering with Ofsted to open a brand new baby room hopefully as early as April 2021 which will accommodate 6 Under 2's.

We take the government universal funding (15 hours per week) and can offer fully funded sessions 8-1, 1-6 or 8-6 for children in the term after they turn three, this can also be adapted so that you can opt for a shorter 8-4pm day to coincide more with school hours.

Booking patterns for all Under 5's can be year round or term time only dependant on what suits you best.

We follow the EYFS and children are observed daily and progress tracked in electronic learning journals (Tapestry) so parents are kept aware regularly and in detail in a child's focus week of how well they are getting on.

We have 3 amazing Forest Schools areas which the children visit daily and also offer Yoga, Stave House, Tennis, Creative Crafts, Drama, Phonics, French and make and Bake, with lots of free play too (all classrooms and the babyroom have free flow access to outside.)
