Caister Lifeboat
Caister Lifeboat is an independent charity and was Britain’s first independent lifeboat service. It’s role is, and always has been, to save lives at sea and along the coastline of Norfolk and Suffolk.
Get up close to our current lifeboats, the Bernard Matthews II, and new inshore lifeboat, the Fred Dyble II and explore our interactive museum, The Caister Lifeboat Experience. Open every Sunday and Wednesday from April to October from 10am to 3.30pm, with free admission. For further opening hours and details, see the website or get in touch with us.
With a shop, cafe, toilets, car parking and beach access, visitors of all ages are most welcome.
