Jigsaw Pre-School (Sproughton) at Needham Market offers  care for children from 2 years of age through to school age.  We are situated in the heart of Needham Market in a quiet location close to all amenities.  Our purpose built building is secure with CCTV which covers our large outdoor grassed play area.  We are open from 9am-3pm termtime.

Our staff are highly qualified, experienced, friendly and caring.  Our manager is qualified to level 6.  Our ratio of adult to child is high, to enhance children's development in all areas of their learning play and communication skills.   We can offer term time only childcare.

Jigsaw Pre-school offers high quality care and education in a welcoming stimulating and safe environment for all children from the age of 2 years until school age.

We are open between the hours of 9-3pm and we also offer 3 hr morning sessions 9am-12noon and 3 hr afternoon sessions from 12 noon-3pm which includes lunch time (the children will need to bring a packed lunch)

Our staff  have experience with providing additional support for children to enable them to meet their needs and their potential goals.

We hold termly parents evenings to keep you informed of your child’s progress and developments, the children all have online learning journeys which enables you to share information with us by adding photographs and observations of your own. We operate an open door policy encouraging parents and carers to participate in their child's daily learning. 

Our playroom is spacious and bright with a range of fun stimulating and educational activities. The children have free access to a large secure outdoor play environment which provides many more opportunities for them to explore and enhance their development .  Both of these areas offer wonderful opportunities for your child to develop their own personal social and emotional skills, through play and interaction with peers .

Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities

Jigsaw welcomes all children with SEND. IEP's and careplans are set up for individual children and closely monitored by the setting SENCO and shared with parents/carers and other professionals where appropriate.  A staff member has attended the Early Years SEND reform course.


Staff have knowledge and experience of autism, global delay, and liase with other professionals including SALT/educational psychologists/social workers/health teams/childrens centres.

 Staff are trained in the use of EPI pens, and some staff have gastrostomy pump feed training.


Staff have wide experience and knowledge of keeping children safe that have severe milk and egg allergies.
