Ipswich Croquet Club

Description: The club welcomes people of all ages and runs events throughout the season, for both beginners and more experienced players. There are several coaching courses planned in April, May and June, and are also run "on demand". Beginners or "garden croquet" players are very welcome to come along during the weekly club sessions (and other times by prior arrangement) and will receive a free taster session. Club nights are every Tuesday and Thursday between April and October, starting at 6.00pm; Club afternoons are every Monday and Wednesday from 1pm (2pm in summer) and run all year round (weather permitting).

We have more than 60 members with ages ranging from teens through to nonagenarians.  Croquet is a sport in fresh air that people of all ages can enjoy.  Our club is in a beautiful location at Fynn Valley Golf Club (between Westerfield and Witnesham), and we have full use of the golf club's car park, changing rooms, toilets and bar.  Hot and cold food and drink available.
