Wellbeing Service - Norfolk & Waveney (including Great Yarmouth)

The Wellbeing Service offers a range of social and psychological interventions for people aged 16 and over with mild to moderate levels of:
* Stress
* Anxiety
* Depression (including post-natal depression)
* Panic disorder
* Phobias (including heights, animals, flying, blood-injury-injection, agoraphobia)
* Social Anxiety
* Illness Anxiety / Health Anxiety / Hypochondriasis
* Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
* Psychological impact of long term condition
* Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
* Relationships diffculties

This is provided for via the use of walk-in centres, one-to-one social support, social activities, psychological interventions (such as CBT), guided self-help, relationship counselling for couples, individuals or families, courses focusing on managing stress, worry, insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome or depression. Employment support (for those suffering from mild to moderate anxiety and low mood) is also offered, as is signposting and information about other support services locally.

This support is available via face-to-face contact within community setting such as local libraries and GP surgeries, over the telephone or through the internet.

Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.
