Phoenix House

Phoenix House is a supported accommodation scheme providing low to medium support to homeless, vulnerable and socially-excluded adults aged 18yrs+, comprising of 22 single rooms. Each resident is assigned a keyworker, and together they develop a support plan to help the individual address their housing and support needs.

Our commitment to helping people turn their lives around involves support on areas such as substance misuse, mental health support, money management and skills development.

We offer residents an opportunity to help out at our allotment project to grow produce which supplies the kitchen with seasonal produce. They also get the opportunity to attend wellbeing workshops, arts and culture activities, employability skills and more.

Phoenix House only have support staff on site between the hours of 8am and 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 5.30pm on Sunday

Referral required?
Yes
Referral and availability notes

To be considered for Phoenix House, a Suffolk HRS Referral will need to be made online at https://www.suffolk.gov.uk/adult-social-care-and-health/housing-help-and-support/apply-for-housing-related-support/. This form can be filled in by a professional wishing to refer a customer they work with to our project or adults can self refer.

The form is then sent directly to Suffolk HRS who will send us a notification to say someone has applied. We will look at the referral and make a decision to see if the person is suitable for the support provided at Phoenix House. If this is the case they will be accepted on to our waiting list and we will contact them to arrange an assessment interview once we have a vacancy available.
