Parentalk Courses

General Details

Parentalk Courses run by Steve and Michelle Jones, on behalf of Rushmere Christian Fellowship.  These courses are run over six weeks with each session involving watching a DVD and discussing together how to navigate the age group concerned.  Suitable for parents, grandparents, carers and those who work with children and youth.  Course materials provided by Care for the Family and are geared towards either the primary age group or the teenage years (depending on the course being run).

Course facilitators, Michelle and Steve, have been married for over 20 years and have three teenage children aged 19, 17 and 15.  Steve has been a secondary school teacher for ten years and Michelle has worked as a health visitor and teacher of special needs children.  They are also involved in youth work at Rushmere Christian Fellowship (RCF).  They feel passionately about supporting other parents and look forward to learning something new as the group shares their successes and failures, in parenting children and youth.
