Genesis Orwell Mencap

Framework provider of day, evening and weekend activities for people with learning disabilities and autism

Genesis Orwell Mencap is an Ipswich based charity that supports adults with disabilities by providing personalised day care services. Genesis has a vibrant day care centre where a variety of tutored activities take place for individuals with complex needs. The Garden Furniture Project is a work experience placement for adults with learning disabilities to develop vital skills in constructing furniture. The Green Bike Project supports adults with disabilities in learning the skills to refurbish and recycle bicycles. We also provide domiciliary care to adults with disabilities to live a full and independent life in their home.
