We are open as normal but during any lockdown our Setting will open to offer childcare places to children of key workers and for vulnerable children (Government allowing)
We limit the number of parents, carers and visitors to the preschool and those who enter are asked to use face masks and wash their hands on arrival.
Our toys are cleaned throughout the day using an Electrolux Fogger which sprays all surfaces and the air. In addition we deep clean all the toys used regularly and spray door handles
toilets, and other touch points throughout the day. Any toys that are mouthed are immediately soaked in Milton.
We take children from the outside gate on arrival to limit adults in the preschool area, (however if you need to settled your child you will be allowed in). On arrival they will wash their hands and continue to do so throughout the day.
The children will not be cuddled unnecessarily but if they are upset or unsettled a cuddle is always available.
Little Buddies Pre-School is a small, friendly group. We aim to support parents/carers, the children and their families who are all welcome in our group. Our aim is to provide a caring, loving, happy, stimulating environment to enhance and support all our children’s interests and abilities. All our regular staff, volunteers and students have had a Criminal Records Bureau check. Our staff are highly qualified and experienced in Early Years, 4 are First Aid trained and regularly attend training sessions to update their qualifications. Little Buddies Pre School is Ofsted registered and offers the Early Education Grant, which offers funded places to eligible two, three and four year olds. We operate a key person system, which provides a link between parent/carer, their child and a specific staff member. The children are offered free time and space to explore and learn at their own pace, supported by understanding adults, in secure areas both inside and outdoors on a daily basis. For more details please contact Kate on 07906409418 or pop in during session to meet us. We are experienced with children who may have additional needs such as downs syndrome, Autism, global delay and profoundly deaf.
We often go on visits outside the setting to the park and shops.
