Gretton School
Gretton is a small and friendly ASC specialist school, welcoming students from 5—19 years old as weekly boarders or day students.
Every student at Gretton has a diagnosis of autism or Asperger’s syndrome and every student is different. As autism specialists, we understand that consistent daily routines and staffing helps to keep anxiety at a minimum and ensures that our students feel safe and confident in their surroundings.
We have a high staff to student ratio and classes are small and personal – we know each of our students really well and employ the best strategies to support them in their everyday school life.
Our highly-trained academic, care and therapy teams work together to provide a broad curriculum with an emphasis on holistic development and the development of life and social skills. Our students feel supported and encouraged and have every opportunity to flourish.

- Notes
We plan every student’s learning and development individually.
We offer a broad and balanced curriculum at every stage, and adapt this curriculum to reflect the changing needs of individual students as they progress through the school, and according to their individual talents and interests.
Students can study towards attainment at GCSE and A-Level, as well as other accredited qualifications. They can also gain nationally recognised vocational qualifications.
The team uses a wide range of recognised autistic spectrum condition approaches to support learning. There is a strong emphasis on a multi-professional approach.
