Childminder

I am a registered childminder based in Saxmundham, Suffolk. I offer warm and friendly care for babies and young children from my home. I recently moved to the area with my husband, two daughters and cocker spaniel. Having been a primary school teacher for over 10 years, I have lots of experience caring and nurturing for little ones. Additionally, I am a qualified Forest School Leader so enjoy making the most of our beautiful surrounding area.

My setting is open Monday to Thursday 7.30am-6pm and I charge £6 an hour. This cost covers all activities, food and trips. I ask that you provide your child with nappies, wipes, spare clothes, a named water bottle, formula (if applicable) and any comforters they need. My setting is typically closed for 2 weeks in the school summer holidays, 10 days around the Christmas period and all Bank and Public holidays.

As a registered childminder, I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) to support the learning and development of my children. I will endeavor to provide stimulating activities within my home setting as well as trips out into the local area and attending classes in order to socialise in larger groups.

I will strive to follow the routines already put in place in your home, in order for your child to feel safe in my setting. I will also provide you with a daily record of what your child has been up to including food, toileting, sleep etc.
