PreSchool

We are a long running pre-school, first established in 1973. Being a quality provision is our main focus. We have a bright spacious hall and an outside area which we use daily whatever the weather. We have a dedicated caring staff team who are well qualified. Our adult/child ratio is high and we operate a key-worker system which ensures good relationships with parents and children, and individually planned  activities to meet each child's needs. We operate an equal opportunities, and an inclusion policy Staff have knowledge and experience of global delay, autism and allergies and liase with other professionals to ensure continuity of care.  We promote healthy lifestyle through our curriculum planning using the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. For older children we provide more structured P.E, literacy and maths activities to prepare them for the independence and confidence they will need when starting primary school. We have good links with the local schools to ensure as smooth a transition as possible.
