Wickhambrook SKATE - BMX - SPORTS Park

Development work on the Teen Project started in February 2001 following requests from young people in the village for a skate/BMX facility. Not everyone wants to ride a skateboard or BMX so it was decided that the facility should cater for them as well.

The ‘all-sports’ area provides an all weather surface with a goal and basketball ring and a tennis practice wall is planned. As well as ball games, the area can be used by new skaters who want to gain experience before venturing onto the skatepark, or who want to practice skate-dance etc., and for other interests such as remote control car racing.
