St Mary's Church of England Academy
Children aged 5-9 years. At St Mary's we work hard to create an inspirational environment where children enjoy learning and adults enjoy working. Our aspirations are high, staff and children are focussed on raising attainment and achievement. Every child is encouraged to develop self-confidence, be inquisitive and be bold in their learning. All are valued for their skills and individual qualities and are expected to achieve to their full potential.

Support for people with disabilities
- Experience of including people with special educational needs and disabilities
St Marys is an inclusive school and we always endeavour to do our best for all of our children. All of our teachers are teachers of children with SEN and they all know about ways in which their classroom organisation and their teaching needs to be tweaked to accommodate children with a range of SENs. The school has access to an extensive library of information books and, where applicable, teachers are directed to websites which are particularly useful for information about different SENs. If necessary, we can call on additional services to support our work with the children.
