SENDIASS in Suffolk
The Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) provides information, advice and support to young people and children with SEN or disabilities aged 0 -25, and their parents, about education, health and social care. We provide legally based, impartial, confidential and accessible information and advice. We do this through workshops for practitioners and Parents/carers, online and printed information, a confidential helpline and direct face to face work.
We also provide information, advice and support for parents and young people who are going through the Education, Health and Care Plan process.

Confidential and impartial information, advice and support for all children and young people with SEND and their parents and carers.
We offer Information Sessions for parents and carers.
We provide training for professionals and school governors around working with parents and the law relating to SEN and disability.

We provide legally based, impartial, confidential and accessible information and advice as well as casework and representation when needed.
All SENDIASS team members have taken national, legal training with regard to the SEND Reforms 2014.
