Bumblebee Children's Charity

Coronavirus Support

We are OPEN!

We have made lots of changes at Bumblebees in line with the Covid-19 guidelines to make sure that our families and staff can return to a safe environment.

General Details

The Bumblebee 'miracles in movement' group is specific to pre school children with movement and co-ordination problems and delays. It offers a supportive and understanding community where children and parents attend a small friendly session once a week for 2.5 hours.

The child is encouraged to engage through sensory experiences, movement, songs and messy play.

Sessions are carefully planned to help the children communicate, acquire physical skills and make new friends all whilst having fun.

Conditions we support include :- Autistic spectrum, Cerebral Palsy, Downs syndrome, Dyspraxia Epilepsy, Fragile X, Generalised Hypotonia, Global Delay Hypermobility,
Motor impairment, Physical impairment, Speech and language difficulties, Turners Syndrome, Visual impairment, Williams Syndrome, any chromosomal abnormalities that affect co-ordination.

Notes

A highly skilled and professional team helps parents to recognise a child’s unique qualities and achievements. Everyday is an exciting experience and parents can talk openly to each other about their child's activities, sharing an understanding of each other's situation.
