Re-Utilise Community Scrap Store and Craft Centre

Re-Utilise offers three main services:

1) Crafting sessions and workshops-  

We pride ourselves in making everyone feel welcome - and provide a safe and supportive environment for all to attend.

We run a huge variety of craft sessions, including drop in sessions. The majority provided for free or very low cost.

We also have a large dedicated pottery studio for classes and group sessions, with the ability to glaze and fire ceramics to professional standards.

Our timetabled sessions provide opportunities for all age groups to attend, we want our resource to be accessible to all.

Our group sessions provide a safe supportive environment for everyone to enjoy learning crafts or to expand on existing skills.

2) Scrap Store-

We have a well stocked store on site, offering the opportunity for individuals and groups (care homes, schools and clubs etc) to purchase crafting materials, paint and other supplies at a low cost. This enables access to crafting opportunities and supplies to all. The majority of items are redirected from manufacturing processes, surplus materials or donations. The ethos of reutilisation of materials headed for landfill is what makes us truly unique.

3) Redirection of waste from Manufacturing 

We work with local and national companies to improve their green credentials by redirecting waste products into useable materials. This unique service can be an opportunity for anyone who has waste material which may have a purpose if reutilised, and continually invite new connections within production or manufacturing industries.
