Papworth Trust - Ipswich Centre Museum Street

The Centre provides adults with physical and mild to moderate learning disabilities with the opportunity to take part in their own choice of training and voluntary work experience in the community - so they can progress towards greater independence.
The programme enables people to: build confidence and communication skills, develop skills and qualifications for employment, experience the world of work through placements, and develop skills for living independently.

Clients can learn cookery, communication and social skills, basic skills of numeracy, literacy and computer skills. Also vocational training as identified by the individuals.
Papworth Trust Centre in Museum St is based in the heart of Ipswich providing excellent opportunities for volunteer placements with local businesses and other organisations.
We offer regular FREE ‘Taster Days’ so customers can experience the services we offer to see if they are right for them. If you wish to arrange a ‘Taster Session’, please contact Sharon Cook, Service Manager, on 01473 232146.
