Jasmine Green is a small, four bed space project for homeless 16+ in Lowestoft. Young people moving into Jasmine Green must have a local connection to the Waveney area.
This project is based in a small, friendly home very close to Lowestoft College and with good transport links into the town centre.
All young people living at Jasmine Green work through a planned programme with the support workers who are based there, learning the skills needed to move on into more independent accommodation. Facilities at Jasmine Green include a residents' lounge area with comfortable sofas and a TV, a working area for staff and residents with access to a computer, as well as a large shared kitchen. The support team visit the building every day and are on call at night, if needed.
Passport to Independence
The Open College Network accredited Passport to Independence is available at Jasmine Green and can be completed on a one-to-one basis with the support team or in small groups, depending on the wishes of the residents.
